The site of Papillon Hall, now a farm, is situated on high ground with views overlooking the surrounding countryside. The Hall was demolished in 1950, so there is nothing to see of this building. The site is now a field and a farmyard with fragments of the former gardens and outbuildings scattered around. These include the lily pond, a summerhouse, some walls and the remains of a greenhouse. The stables and other outbuildings remain and are now used as farm buildings.

New Walk is a late-18th-century urban public walk, extending for 1100 metres, developed in the 19th century with residences and some public buildings.

The site has a Victorian house with a 0.8 hectare walled garden dating from around 1850. There are also Messenger greenhouses built in the 1880s. The house was home to the Paget family including Arthur Paget, the inventor of the land drainage system. The walled kitchen garden received a grant for restoration form the Heritage Lottery Fund in 2004.

Garden incorporating a Portland Stone Cross , at entrance, surrounded by 54 trees to mark each fallen soldier. WW1 soldiers have 44 lime trees; WW2 soldiers have 10 almond trees. Also features two tennis courts, a bowling green and a recreation ground.

Bradgate Park has developed from a medieval deer park with later 18th-century features, preserved as public parkland since 1928. Within the park are the ruins of Bradgate House, a brick mansion begun in the 1490s and abandoned in the 18th century, associated with which are the earthwork remains of its garden.

Lowesby Hall has 18th-century parkland of 50 hectares with early-20th-century formal gardens designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and now much simplified. The parkland contains part of the earthwork remains of the medieval village of Lowesby.

Launde Abbey is a substantial country house in east Leicestershire. It is surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens and parkland containing mature trees. There is an 18th-century stable block, a chapel, and an early 19th-century ha-ha, walled garden and glasshouse.

Narborough Memorial Park features a children’s play area, tennis courts and a shelter. A sensory garden was added in 2010.
