The film:

The film will be Swede Caroline. In this British Mockumentary, the competitive giant vegetable growing world is rocked by scandal when up-and-coming prospect Caroline (Jo Hartley) has her prized marrow plants stolen. With her life turned upside down and desperate for answers, she turns to two private detectives (Aisling Bea and Ray Fearon), who are then dramatically kidnapped. Are the events linked? No, of course not. But …

Film Review:
Swede Caroline is a brilliantly crafted mockumentary ( a genre that has been lacking in new and original films as of recently). The film blends charm with.sharp humor to create a comedic yet endearing film. As absurd as the concept of a missing giant vegetable is the film knows how to balance its absurdist nature with truly heartfelt moments. The actors did an impeccable job and there comedic timing was spot on. There might be nothing better than a movie that is simultaneously able to provide you with laugh while also keeping you enthralled in the characters and mystery at play. A film that I believe will turn into a cult-classic in the years to come and will hopefully get the recognition and appreciation it so well deserves.
