The Friends Evening is a little later this year because of the Chris Beardshaw lecture. It is going to be a similar format to last year. We will have three short presentations. Wine, soft drinks and mince pies etc. will be served, to give the evening a festive feel.
Presentations:
- “Death in the Garden”. Stephen Barker read some gardening magazines from the 40s and 50s and, with hindsight, was appalled by the generous use of pesticides advised at the time. He will shock us with some of the details.
- The Education Group objectives and the schools that have been helped and how.
- John Crookes will talk about the Knighton wildlife developments.
This event is always fun, so try to attend if you can.
