An illustrated talk by Garden Designer, Emma Scarborough exploring the history of a 400 year old Leicestershire garden before reflecting on its most recent chapter.  Emma will describe her work of the last 5 years to restore, renovate and redesign the gardens with a specific focus on the design rationale & principles that have underpinned her work as well as highlighting the key plants that play an integral role unifying the whole space.

Emma has been designing gardens for almost 25 years across the East Midlands and further afield. She is a Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers and held the position of Lecturer in Horticulture & Garden Design at Brooksby College between 2000 and 2015. From intimate Courtyards to the expansive grounds of Country Houses, Emma has designed over 200 gardens to date.

Emma is also a member of the Trust.
