Everyone paid their membership fees for 2020 either by standing order during 2020 or by cheque at the start of 2020. However, most of 2020 was cancelled and even now it is unclear when events will start again in 2021. The committee have looked at our financial situation and decided that future fees will be as follows:
Friends paying by cheque:- your payment at the start of 2020 will cover you until the end of 2022. Renewal of your membership will be at the end of 2022 for 2023 membership.
Friends paying by standing order:- thank you for continuing to pay through standing order which saves us a lot of work. However, this has resulted in you paying for two years when there have been minimal events. We thus plan to refund this to you via a discount on future events.
So effectively you will all get membership for 2020, 2021 and 2022 for the price of one year. We hope you are happy with this decision. We felt it was the minimum we could do given the awful time we have had.
